Automatic Pill Dispenser

Automatic Pill Dispenser is a device that is targeted to people who has to take right medication at right time. This was a mini project during my B. Tech education. The challenge in this project is that we were not supposed to use any kind of microcontrollers. This Pill dispenser consist of equally spaced slots for placing pills, which will rotate when the user preferred time and the current time matches.

Wireless Home Automation

Wirelessly control each appliances at home, which do not require additional wiring, connect an adaptor in between appliance and power supply. Each adaptor is wirelessly connected to a central hub. Once connection is established each adaptor can be controlled using a remote, mobile or PC

Self Assisted Hospital Bed

Hospital Bed which can be tilted sideways ,foldable and streached using IR remote. This is a final year mechanical project done by my friend in which I had to design a control system. The tilting and folding mechanism is done using a Wiper motor used in automobiles. System is designed using Arduino ,TSOP1738 (IR Sensor) and limit switches.

Slave Flash

Old camera flashes have hot shoe which will be at high voltages, so connecting it directly to new DSLR will damage the camera. I modified a old camera flash inorder to work with my Fujifilm HS30EXR. I used a 555 monostable with a SCR so connecting a LDR to monostable will make it a wireless Slave Flash.

LED Ring Flash

When shooting in macro normal flash is useless,it causes sharp shadows or dosent fill light uniformily if the object is too close. So placing a light near to lens with same shape fills light properly. Wide angle led in parallel along with 555 monostable did the trick.

RGB LED Multiplexing

When I was a kid once I asked my father is it possible to make colour TV using red green and blue leds. After few years its in market. In the place i stay it hard to get rgb led as such so i was using separate leds to make combination of colours. And arduino has only 6 PWM and I wanted to make rainbow while stubmiling in google I found out one guy has done it. So i started to make rgb modules. Its creates PWM at higher frequency and Multiplexes it common cathode. Paper cylinder made a vibrant effect. This project uses multiplexing so brightness will be less.

DIY Mood Light

Its a bottle with a RGB Led trapped inside. In this project I tried to fit in possible settings that can be included in Atmega 8 to give vivid visual effects from a RGB LED. This is USB powered, Cost effective Moodlight. Incase you want to gift someone. :)

Intelligent Anti Theft Automobile Security System

Its a Final year project for Computer Science student of Mohandas Engineering College. Objective of this project is to give alert to the owner of the vehicle if a intruder tries to move the vehicle. In addition to that owner can track the location of the vehicle using a android app. As well as disable ignition. Arduino along with SIM908 GSM+GPS module is used.

Eight Channel Ambilight on Windows

This is another hobby project of mine. As soon as I learned that i can give color input from my computer to a hardware,I wanted to push it more. First I used processingjs to display color in screen to LED, after that I found out VLC media player directly gives this output, you just need to configure and enable it. I integrated Shift PWM Library along with adalight protocol. Result is 100% Awesomeness.

Eight Channel Ambilight on Raspberry Pi

Three 8bit Shift register , ULN2803 driver IC , RGB Led Strip and Arduino. This combo makes the 24 PWM pins for powering up 8 RGB Led Strips. Running OSMC (Open Source Media Center) on Raspberry Pi along with Hyperion. The whole thing behind back of TV.. That will change the way you look at TV

Pixel - Facebook Controlled Wifi RGB LED

I wanted to build a standalone DIY ESP8266 based project. Finally its here!. I designed a PCB with SMD components which includes ESP8266-12E Wifi SoC with codes on eLua using MQTT which is again integrated using chatbot which interconnects Facebook. So if I say 'Change color to red' it identifies the color and send corresponding HEX value of color to box with ESP8266 and RGB LED aka Pixel. This is now cloud controlled Color Pixel which I can change color by just chatting. I have recently integrated it along with Amazon Alexa, So you can just ask it to change color. Another application which I had integrated it with is Gmail using IFTTT so if I recieve a new mail it changes its color to red.
